MEHMET HABBAB - Chairman

Mehmet Habbab started his career in 1970 by founding an office equipment company with the US firm Smith Corona. Over the next decade, it developed and expanded its business, making it a leader in the Turkish office equipment market.

In the early 1980s, Mehmet Habbab, Delta Petroleum Co. He started his own company and entered the oil and gas business. It established large facilities in Southern Turkey, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, and has grown rapidly to become one of the leading oil service and trading companies in Turkey. The company entered oil and gas trade in the Mediterranean and the Middle East and has become one of Iraq's main suppliers since 1985, with over 25 years of relationships with Iraqi SOMO as well as with many other countries. In 2012, the Group entered the mining business in Turkey and as of 2022, it is among the top 5 companies in Turkey in the field of chrome mining.

Mehmet Habbab served as Chairman or Board Member in many organizations. He is the President of the Turkish-UAE (United Arab Emirates) Businessmen's Council at DEIK, the Vice-President of the Turkish-Lebanese Businessmen's Council, the Vice-President and Coordinator of the Middle East Businessmen's Council, and has recently presided over the newly established Turkish-Arab Businessmen's Federation.

Mehmet Habbab is a member of the International Board of the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.

SAMİ HABBAB - Vice Chairman and CEO of Delta Group

As Delta Group CEO, Sami Habbab manages the Group's investments and growth strategies. In the past, he managed the Group's post-production activities, trade, warehousing, transportation and logistics operations in the integrated oil and gas sector. Currently, the Group has active duties in the management of different businesses, which consist of energy as well as mining and commodity trading activities. In addition to the Group's existing investments, it also directs growth and new ventures. It takes part in international projects in a wide region from Africa to the Middle East.

In previous years, he served as the CEO of the wholesale liquid storage and port infrastructure business of the Group, which has Terminals in Turkey and Georgia and is one of the leading oil storage companies with a storage capacity of 800,000 cubic meters, 2.5 km of port infrastructure and six berthing stations in the entire Black Sea and Mediterranean region. In these years, it doubled its operating volume by working in the wholesale liquid storage and port sector. During his leadership he worked with international refineries and internationally renowned commodity trading companies and international oil companies.

Sami Habbab graduated with a BA from Wharton School of Business and an MBA from Kellogg Business School Northwestern University. He worked as a Corporate Finance Analyst for three years at Citigroup, Salomon Smith Barney Investment Banking departments during the first years of his career, and then took charge in Delta Group management.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of DEIK Energy Council and a former board member of GYIAD (Young Turkish Businessmen's Association). As of 2022, he represents the Group in the United Nations Global Compact network as a member of the Global Compact Turkey General Assembly.

SELİN HABBAB - Member of the Board

Selin Habbab, after completing her high school education at Private Boğaziçi High School, completed her university education in the Department of Marketing and Communications at George Washington University in the USA.

After working in different positions at Louis Vuitton Paris, Image Public Relations, Mercedes-Benz Türk, Doğuş Automotive and Garanti Bank for many years, he continued to carry out her management responsibilities in Delta Group as an entrepreneur and also established his own business.

She made his first big venture by bringing the French Jacadi children's clothing and furniture brand to Turkey. Selin Habbab Jacadi has achieved great success by growing Turkey in a short time. Continuing its ventures with the Sırmasa brand, which provides organization and equipment rental services, Selin's invite have become a fast-growing brand by serving not only Delta Group but also many corporate organizations in Turkey and the world.
